Spectral Blue at Aqua-Ice 2026 in Reykjavík

Spectral Blue will participate in Aqua-Ice 2026, taking place on 29-30 September at Harpa Conference Centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. Aqua-Ice is Iceland’s annual aquaculture conference and exhibition, bringing together fish producers, technology providers, researchers and other industry professionals to discuss the latest developments and challenges in aquaculture. This year’s programme covers topics including sustainability, emerging technologies, fish health and the future development of the industry.

Our Karin Henricson will present our latest case study on the use of Spectral Blue MWHI® antimicrobial blue light in fish processing. The presentation, "Antimicrobial Blue Light Reduces Listeria Contamination on a Rainbow Trout Processing Line" shares results from a commercial processing facility where continuous blue light was used to reduce Listeria contamination while the production line was running.

You can also meet Spectral Blue at the stand of our Icelandic partner Líftækni, where Karin and the Líftækni team will be available to discuss antimicrobial blue light and its applications in aquaculture and fish processing.
