Spectral Blue to Present Multi-Site Case Study at EHEDG World Congress 2026, 7-8 October, Vienna

Spectral Blue will participate in the EHEDG World Congress 2026 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together food safety and hygienic design professionals from around the world. Our Karin Henricson will present a scientific poster highlighting the practical applications of continuous antimicrobial blue light in food production environments.

Our poster, "Continuous Antimicrobial Blue Light in Food Environments: A Multi-Site Case Study," presents three real-world applications of Spectral Blue MWHI® technology: a rainbow trout sorting line, a military kitchen in Norway, and a meat slicing machine. The case studies demonstrate how continuous antimicrobial blue light can help reduce microbial contamination in different food processing and preparation environments, including hard-to-clean equipment surfaces.

The EHEDG World Congress focuses on food safety and hygienic production, bringing together industry experts to share research, innovations and practical experiences. We look forward to discussing how continuous antimicrobial blue light can complement existing hygiene practices and support safer food production.
