Given the inherent risks of handling pathogens and control strains, managing contamination is a top priority for KVVY Tutkimus. To further enhance contamination prevention measures in their pathogen laboratory, they installed Spectral Blue SALO disinfection devices in two laminar hoods and one fume hood. The SALO devices are now in daily use.

It even provides a sense of added security when you can see its shine when leaving work," Toivo adds.
