Our Partner Lindo Secures Major Funding - And Pushes Spectral Blue MWHI® Technology Into New Frontiers

Our Australian partner Lindo (https://lindo.group/) has announced great news: the company has received AUD 1.96 million in matched funding from the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Program. This is an important recognition of Lindo’s work and the growing potential of antimicrobial blue light (aBL) solutions in healthcare.

What makes this especially exciting is that the project brings Spectral Blue MWHI® technology into new clinical application areas, in collaboration with world-leading institutions such as the Mayo Clinic. It shows how our multi-wavelength, high-intensity blue light technology can support safer care in places where it has not been used before.

Pushing the Envelope Together

Lindo’s team is known for taking bold steps, and this project continues that approach. By integrating antimicrobial blue light into their device development, they are helping demonstrate how light-based infection prevention can fit into future clinical workflows.

For us at LED Tailor, it is inspiring to see how Spectral Blue MWHI® blue light can be used in new ways outside the typical environments. We are proud to be the technology partner supporting this work and helping bring Spectral Blue into more healthcare applications worldwide.

Strong Collaboration Behind the Project

The development effort includes several respected organizations - from medical device designers and engineers to microbiology experts at Monash University and clinical input from the Mayo Clinic. Together they are building the scientific and regulatory foundation needed for broader adoption of antimicrobial blue light technologies.

Looking Forward

At LED Tailor, we see this as an important step for the whole field of infection prevention. When companies like Lindo apply Spectral Blue MWHI® technology in new areas, it helps push the industry forward and opens possibilities for safer and more sustainable antimicrobial solutions.

Congratulations again to the Lindo team. We are excited to follow the next stages of this journey!
