Spectral Blue by LED Tailor advances to the final stage of Urban Tech project

URBAN TECH was a 3-year project funded by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101005301. The project supported the acceleration of competitive success of European SMEs and start-ups through market launch of new or significantly improved products and services with higher value in Health Tech, Smart City and Greentech industry sectors.

2 Feb 2024 Exciting news - Spectral Blue by LED Tailor has been accepted to the final stage of EU Urban Tech project

20 companies out of 80 finalists were selected to enter the 3rd and final stage: A market discovery programme to accelerate commercial success and to establish two international partnerships.

"Our pilot showed that the technology can work as well in real hospital conditions as in cleanroom facilities. We are looking at a historic transformation where a previously manual effort, disinfection, can be made more and more automated.

- Automation and multi-wavelength blue light will be critical factors in battling multi-resistant microbes in the future", says Tuukka Autio, Product Manager at LED Tailor.

This programme allows us to connect with new customers and partners throughout Europe, accelerating the adoption of our innovation.
